Now that I’m down 22 pounds (15 in the competition), I decided it was time to drag out the old “before” photo and post a current one. I put on the same exact outfit and everything. Now pretend you see a difference.
Before:

After:

(I forgot to take a side pic in the pink sweater, but both of these are from today.)
The good news: I do see a significant difference in the side-view photos. The bad: The front views look nearly identical, except for maybe a slighly smaller chin.
Oh well, I feel a difference, and I’m fairly sure I see a difference in the mirror. Eventually the camera will catch up!

About Kristen K
My life has always been pretty darn fantastic--except for one thing: my weight. Not too long ago, I tipped the scale at 283 pounds. I'd gain some, lose some and gain some right back, and I was so frustrated. When I saw a notice for a Biggest Loser-style contest in my local paper, I applied on the spot and I felt like I won the lottery when I found out I was one of the five contestants chosen.
We worked out four times a week with trainers and followed a clean eating diet, and my life completely transformed. I've lost more than 60 pounds and I'm feeling confidence for the first time in my life.
I'm 29 years old with a great husband, a rewarding job, two adorable dogs and fantastic friends. Weight loss continues to be a struggle now that the contest has ended, but this time I know that I can do it and I'm fully committed.
This blog has seved as an accountability tool as I journey from a happy, but fat, person to a happy and confident person.
And for the first time in my life, I'm no longer putting it off until tomorrow. This time, I'm starting this minute.
I’m so proud of you! You are looking pretty skinny already….WOW! It’s amazing what 22lbs missing looks like! I promise you whatever the outcome is of this contest I will continue to train you for free until you reach your goal! I want you to be an inspiration and testiment(I think that’s spelled wrong) to others that want to reach a weight loss goal. I’m so happy you are my contestant…I’m so excited to see the finishing touches! Keep it up!
Ok, side view: I see a huge difference! And the front view – I see a waist forming!
I am SO proud of you! Inspiring me as well.
Wow! Just read Michelle’s comment – TAKE HER UP ON IT!
Congrats! I can tell a difference, especially in the side view. The other night when I saw you and Jon, you were wearing a black sweater, so it was hard to tell, but you have definitely lost a noticeable amount.
I see more slack in the middle from the front view as well as a very noticeable difference in the side view. I think you are doing a great job! Keep it up!
You look beautiful! So proud of you!
Found your blog through a H&F post. Just wanted to comment that you look great and I definitely see difference in the straight on photo! You are carrying much less bulk through your shoulders and chest. I never thought of shoulders of being indicative of weight loss, but the more I lose, the more I am loving the shape of my flat, square shoulders instead of my old rounded ones.
Keep it up, girl!!
